인도네시아는 세계에서 가장 많은 섬을 가지고 있다. 다양한 문화가 존재하는데 특히 발리는 인도네시아 중에서도 색다른 문화를 가지고 있다. 인도네시아의 주 종교인 무슬림이 아닌 힌두교인들이 대부분이다. 자유분방하며 집집마다 사원을 가지고 있고 개개별 다양한 신들이 있다. 

이를 통해 여러 이야기들이 전해 내려오는데 이러한 이야기들을 작가의 심상에 세계에서 풀어 그림으로 표현한다.우리가 흔히 보지 못했을 동물들을 의인화 하거나 신에 비유하기도 한다. 

사람을 동물처럼 해학적으로 그려 넣기도 하였다. 주로 켄버스에 아크릴이나 아크릴펜으로 작업 하는데 인도네시아 커피를 원료로 한 전통 잉크를 사용하며 쌀로 만든 Rice paper로 콜라쥬를 하기도 했다. 최근 한국을 비롯 싱가포르 등 동남아시아에서 새롭게 주목 받기 시작했다.

They are free-spirited, each house has a temple, and each has a variety of gods. Through this, many stories are passed down, and these stories are expressed through paintings in the world in the artist’s imagination. Animals that we would not normally see are sometimes personified or compared to gods. 

People were also humorously depicted as animals. I mainly work with acrylic or acrylic pens on canvas, using traditional ink made from Indonesian coffee, and also made collages with rice paper made from rice. Recently, it has begun to receive new attention in Southeast Asia, including Korea and Singapore.
