빨래를 보면 각자의 삶이 들여다 보인다. 이집에 아이가 있는지 아빠가 무슨 일을 하는지 오늘 하루는 어땠는지...하루의 노고와 설렘과 기쁨과 슬픔까지... 빨래를 털면서 먼지를 훌훌 털어버리듯 지치고, 마음 속에 있던 슬프고 아픈 감정들을 훌훌 털어버리자는 가슴 따뜻해 지는 어쩌

면 우리들의 주변에 또는 현재를 살아가고 있는 우리들 자신의 이야기인 것 같다. 

우리 삶 속에 어린 아이와 강아지는 희망적이고 순수하지만 다른 이면은 한없이 약해서 혼자는 할 수 있는 게 없는 존재이다. 그런 약하고 순수한 이들이 서로 위로해주는 모습이 아픔과 고독을 어루만져주는 삶을 향한 따뜻한 위로가 된다.

When you look at laundry, you can see into each person’s life. I wonder if there are children in the house, what dad is doing, how the day was... the day’s hard work, excitement, joy, and sadness... As if shaking off dust while doing laundry, I feel exhausted and shake off the sad and painful feelings in my heart. Let’s shake it off. It’s a heart-warming story, perhaps a story of those around us or of ourselves who are living in the present. 

The children and dogs in our lives are hopeful and innocent, but on the other side, they are infinitely weak and cannot do anything on their own. The sight of such weak and innocent people comforting each other provides

warm consolation for a life that eases pain and loneliness.
